"T" / Bella

Hi, My husband and I are dog people and love our doggie children very much.

I have wanted to adopt a dog from a rescue for awhile but since my husband and I had three dogs already, our house was pretty full. However, my husband and I decided that if we ever saw a Boston Terrier that was good with other dogs, we would adopt him/her.

On the day after Valentines day, I woke up and checked my regular things on the computer, then decide to check Petfinder for fun. There she was! A 7 yr old Boston Terrier that they called "T". She was going to be at PetSmart that day for the Valentines weekend adoption event!! She was being adopted out by Oregon Dog Rescue. I knew the group from our local Portland Dog website pdxdog.com, so I knew that they gave good descriptions of the dogs' personality and had the dogs checked out by reputable vets.

I could not have been more excited. My husband and I rushed down there and met our Bella. It was the best Valentines present I have ever gotten. She is the only dog that could have fit in with our family of five! She gets along great with everyone. We all love her. There are some bathroom problems but we were aware of those ahead of time. Thanks to Petfinder and Oregon Dog Rescue and we are happy to work on them! We didn't know we wanted four but now we hope to have these four dogs for many years to come!!
