We are looking for motivated individuals who love dogs as much as we do and are reliable. Due to the training requirements, you must be able to commit to a minimum of 4 months with consistent volunteer hours each week.
Although we all love to cuddle puppies, our staff is moving in every direction, we really rely on our volunteers to help with all parts of the rescue
We are looking for the following:
Cleaning Help Position - Duties include but not limited to: cleaning crates/runs, helping with dishes, laundry, refilling mop buckets, deep cleaning tasks. You will be cleaning poop, urine and occasional vomit from kennels while assisting staff. This is a great intro position to the rescue, especially if you do not have dog experience yet and will allow for opportunities to help elsewhere when they open.
Puppy Playroom Monitor/Flex - Duties include but not limited to: Cleaning our puppy crates, bathing puppies, assisting with dishes, laundry, closing down the puppy area. THIS IS A DIRTY JOB* it is not all cuddling puppies. This is a great base level position for people who have some experience with dogs and are looking to learn more.
Playroom Monitor- Duties include but not limited to: Monitoring dogs in a playroom setting, assisting with managing dog behaviors, assisting staff with cleaning crates, runs, assisting with dishes, laundry, closing down the small dog area. THIS IS A DIRTY JOB* it is not all cuddling dogs .This is a great advanced level position for people who have experience reading dog body language.
Your volunteer shift would be scheduled for one consistent day/shift each week.

Thursdays 7-10 Cleaning help
Thursdays 12-3 Puppy / Flex
Saturdays 7-10 Cleaning Help
Saturdays 3-6 Playroom Monitor
