A Home of Our Own!

Everyone here at Oregon Dog Rescue wish you a very happy holiday season! 

We are pleased to announce that we now have ALL our permits from the City of Tualatin to begin major construction in our new building at 6700 SW Nyberg St., Tualatin, OR. 

The past few weeks have been real “nail biters” as we navigated the maze of city departments and inspectors.  Now that we have the permits, the electrical, plumbing and construction will be moving along at a fast pace (we hope).  We are still studying bids for signage, flooring and appliances.  Many of these things are more expensive than originally budgeted, so any help in the donation area would be VERY much appreciated.

Now that we have a real “place” to come and help out, we anticipate many volunteers will be willing and waiting for the opportunity to jump in and help with: dog walks, laundry chores, cleaning and reception work with the public.  We hope to have some systems in place on day one so everyone will be able to step in, contribute to the organization and have fun at the same time!

We will be at the Tualatin PetSmart Saturday 11:00 to 5:00 as usual.  Our schedule will change slightly at Christmas and New Years.  Since Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve both fall on a Saturday, we will be open Friday instead, for our usual adoption day at PetSmart.
